ART OF BALANCE AND MINDFUL BEING

MY METHOD TO THE PRACTICE, TEACHINGS AND THE YOGA TRADITION

The Art of Balance and Mindful Being is my method and approach to the practice, teachings, and tradition of yoga. This methodology has evolved over 15 years of teaching and working with hundreds of thousands of students and teachers. In response to yoga’s shift toward aesthetics over functionality, my approach emphasizes purposeful, intelligent movement while staying true to the core principles of the practice.

At its core, my teaching prioritizes slowing down. I strip away unnecessary and often performative elements to cultivate a grounded, intentional practice. Through carefully crafted sequences, I focus on personalized alignment, injury prevention, and honoring the body’s natural movement patterns. By weaving together classical yoga with alternative movement modalities, this approach creates an environment where individuals can feel whole and the mind can rest in focused presence.

Balance is not the absence of movement but the ability to realign, adapt, and flourish amidst life’s unpredictability. Ultimately, the Art of Balance and Mindful Being is a methodology that offers a deeply nourishing practice, supporting students and teachers in fostering greater harmony within themselves and with the world around them.
