Finding Ground: The Tripod of the Foot

This is a slow, intentional exploration of the feet as the foundation for everything else.

In this short practice, we work with what I call the tripod of the foot—the big toe mound, pinky toe mound, and center of the heel—and track how subtle shifts in pressure change balance, strength, and stability throughout the body.

We move through simple floor work, transitional postures, standing poses, and balance shapes, repeatedly returning to the same question: where is your weight, and how aware are you of it?

Nothing here is rushed. Some shapes are held, others pass quickly, but the throughline is consistent—learning how to recalibrate, feel center, and stay responsive rather than rigid.
