How to Rotate Your Neck Safely | Forward Head Fix

Learn how to rotate your neck without cranking, compressing, or throwing your head back.

In this short practice, we’ll look at why so many of us lose clean neck rotation (hello, forward-head posture and tight neck muscles), and how to rebuild it with subtle strengthening and smarter alignment—from the floor, to tabletop, to standing postures and familiar shapes like Warrior II, Triangle, and Side Angle.

In this class you will:

Strengthen the deep muscles of the neck

Improve rotation without letting the head fall back

Organize the head over the shoulders in common yoga poses

Gently release tension around the base of the skull

Props: 1 yoga block

This is a great class if you spend a lot of time at a computer, feel “stuck” when you turn your head, or notice yourself lifting your chin every time you look to the side.
