Neck & Head Mobility Yoga Flow | Functional Movement for the Cervical Spine

This is a slow, intelligent yoga practice designed to improve neck and head mobility through functional, real-world movement patterns.

Rather than isolating the neck into simple flexion, extension, or rotation, this class explores how the head actually moves through space in daily life—guided by the eyes, the hands, and the whole body working together.

You’ll move through a steady, mindful flow that integrates:

  • Neck mobility without strain

  • Coordinated head, eye, and arm movement

  • Strength and control through the cervical spine

  • Gentle upper-back and shoulder opening

  • Awareness of posture and alignment in everyday motion

This practice is especially helpful if you:

  • Spend long hours at a desk or looking at screens

  • Experience neck tension, stiffness, or fatigue

  • Want a safer, more integrated approach to neck work

  • Are looking to move beyond “stretching” and into intelligent movement

Props are optional. Two yoga blocks are helpful, but the practice can be adapted without them.

Move slowly. Let the head follow the hands. Pay attention to how movement feels—not how it looks.
