Side Neck Reset: Strength + Mobility for Easier Turning

This short, focused practice works with lateral flexion and rotation of the neck—not by forcing stretches, but by building intelligent strength and awareness.

We begin on the floor to establish head–spine alignment, then gradually integrate the neck into seated and standing postures. The emphasis is on moving from the base of the skull, reducing habitual tension, and supporting healthier, more comfortable range of motion.

This practice is especially helpful if you:

  • feel tightness when turning your head

  • notice strain in the sides of the neck

  • want stability and freedom, not just stretching

Move slowly. Rest when needed. Let repetition do the work.
