Yoga for Shoulder Internal Rotation

This is a slow, focused yoga practice centered on internal rotation of the upper arms and the shoulder joint. Rather than pushing range, the emphasis is on control, awareness, and understanding how shoulder movement changes depending on the position of the spine. You’ll move through gentle shoulder preparation, plank and cobra variations, lunges, Warrior I and Warrior II, pyramid pose, balance work, and a few deeper binding shapes to explore how the upper back and shoulders support healthy rotation. This practice is especially useful for students and teachers who want to better understand shoulder mechanics, improve mobility with care, and build strength and awareness through mindful movement. Steady, technical, and deliberate.
